Was in the area at a nearby restaurant and saw Honey's Chicken. Stopped by a few weeks later and I'm hooked. I ordered a sweet heat chicken sandwich and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both were real-deal tasty. Next time I will request no sauce on my fries. The sauce on both orders was sweet. With them having quite a few other menu items, I will definitely go back.
Okay... Tried Honey's today for the 1st which is odd because I literally stay like a block away but I digress... It's basically a "Carry-out" only place with very little seating which consist of 2 small ottoman type cubes. Enough for just 2 people to be seated which sucks considering everything they sell is made to order which means you're forced to wait approx 30 minutes for every order but no place really to sit. Now with that being the case order is piping hot and the food is indeed pretty good. I ordered their 8 pc mixed with fries and an oder of wings, I'm not a huge fan of sweet types of sauce but my family loved it. I opted for sauce on the side of my wings. The place is clean, tidy and well lit. Over all a nice place. My only criticism I guess would be since you're a "made to order" restaurant and everyone has a 30 minute it makes sense to have adequate seating available. All in all I'll be returning for more.

Hands down some of the best lemon pepper wings I ever had. The customer service is exceptional for recommending the hot honey sauce, goin above and beyond anything I could've asked for. The hot honey sauce flavor is definitely a guaranteed 10/10. You not goin to find any other sauce around like that hot honey. Y'all made that food with luv thank you! I can't wait to try more food from the menu.
Honey Chicken opened in Hazelcrest two months ago. I tried it while getting my nails done and it's a HIT!! I love that the sauce has a sweet taste.. like HONEY. They are black owned and have several locations. I had never heard of them before but decided to come and get some for dinner after getting my nails done. There is plenty of free parking lot parking on front. It's in a strip mall next door to GOAT dds. It's take out and delivery only way lo start soon. Uber Eats, and GrubHub. The owner Mack was very kind.. I give this chicken and sauce a 5!! Every order is made fresh to order.. come try it, it was reeeaaalll good to me and my daughter who is very picky!
